Tombros Varsity Golf Clubhouse

Project Highlights: 

• Hoffman Leakey worked with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics and the University’s golf program to design a new clubhouse for the men’s and women’s golf teams between Penn State’s Blue and White golf courses.

• Designers used stonework and exposed timber throughout the building to give it a warm and rustic feel.

• The new facility features locker rooms, coaches’ offices, a players’ lounge, a putting area, an outdoor fireplace, and state-of-the-art V-1 electronics, including a laptop area where players can finish their schoolwork.

• A new heated indoor hitting-net facility and the indoor to outdoor hitting bays provide golfers with a way to improve development, even in the winter months.
