Jason Bakaj has been a crucial part of our team since 2016. Though he pronounces his last name "Buck-eye", deep in the heart of Penn State Nittany Lion country, we still like him. Jason has a background in custom home design and is proficient with AutoCAD drafting, 3-D rendering, and construction administration. Here at HLA, Jason creates construction document sets by drafting floor plans, details, and perspective views of projects. He is also  a part of project and construction administration, working to answer RFIs and return submittals.

 

When he isn't in the office, Jason can be found spending time with his family. Happily married, his wife is his inspiration and what keeps him going. Together they are raising four young children, who keep them busy, but they wouldn't have it any other way!

 

Jason is an avid hockey fan, rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Penn State Icers; and when time allows, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and boating.
