J. Michael (Mike) Leakey has more than 45 years of professional experience as a contractor, project manager, and architect.  Mike’s project experience ranges from private residential work to large scale institutional projects. In 2014, Mike joined Robert H. Hoffman to form Hoffman Leakey Architects, LLC and on January 01, 2022 Mike became sole owner of the business. The Hoffman Leakey partnership has resulted in many successful projects and an even stronger company culture that reflects our core company values of innovation, integrity, and relationships.

 

Mike is an active member of the Bellefonte Historical Review Board, The Centre Region Code Administration Appeals Board, former member of the Discovery Space Children's Museum board of directors and a strong advocate for educational outreach. 

 

When Mike isn't in the studio you will find him in his shop, designing and building furniture,

or on his bicycle exploring the back roads of the Centre Region. Mike also enjoys spending time with family, and in particular his grandsons, Finley, Austin and Lucas.
