Project Highlights: 

• The Penn State HHD Audiology Clinic Program hired HLA to provide professional architectural services in moving their existing language clinic from the Ford to the Research A Building

• HLA ensured the waiting room and reception area allowed for privacy with a sleek and welcoming modern design 

• Lead graduate architect Bryan Ray and Interior Designer Melissa Shank worked with the department to monitor budget constraints by re-using equipment where viable, while remaining sensitive to faculty needs and expectations in the new space

• Options were explored for visual way-finding incorporating creative uses of paint and carpet colors

• Noise control was an important consideration throughout, as well as achieving STC rating for acoustically sensitive spaces
