NICDQ Candidate
Ally Viering is a passionate interior designer whose love for design began at a young age through creative exploration in games like The Sims and Minecraft. These open-ended worlds sparked an early fascination with designing spaces, shaping environments, and creating meaningful experiences.
Before pursuing a career in design, Ally studied social work while working in community serving jobs. Those experiences inspired her to combine her passion for helping others with her creativity by earning an Interior Architecture degree from Marywood University. While at Marywood, Ally embraced opportunities through the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), mentor and mentee programs, a designation in Urban Studies, and receiving the 2025 Edward Gayeski Medal for Excellence in Design.
Since joining Hoffman Leakey Architects in 2025, Ally is now based in Bellefonte, and she is proud to serve her community by designing environments that celebrate both the beauty of space and the people it is built for. In her free time, she enjoys time in nature, fitness classes, sitting on the couch with her cats, and revisiting those childhood games.
