This project reimagined an existing facility for the State College Area School District, providing expanded space for the IT Department alongside new specialized classroom environments. The large-scale interior renovation leverages a central corridor to clearly organize the building, with District IT functions on one side and dedicated classroom spaces on the other. The IT suite includes private offices, a lobby, break room, restrooms, a large open work area, and ample storage. Addressing the previously dark conditions was a key priority, with the design introducing significant natural light to create a brighter, more productive workspace. On the academic side, two specialized classrooms were designed with dedicated restrooms, including one flexible learning environment that supports open student collaboration while maintaining clear sightlines, along with adjacent support spaces.

The project also included comprehensive exterior upgrades, including new windows, doors, and roof, enhancing both the building’s performance and overall appearance.
